February Workshop

This is a two part workshop. Part two will be held on Tuesday, March 18.

Part 1
– Compare different mobile environments (Android, iOS, Windows, Mobile Web)
– Future of mobile development
– Review basics and architecture of Android
– Get hands on with a basic app

Part 2
– Analyze a fully developed app from a high level and see how everything connects

January AITP Workshop

Short “meeting” followed by attendance at a presentation by Jim Reed.  Jim is a retired employee of 20+ years with IBM and sole proprietor of his business consulting firm. Jim is a motivational leader specializing in team building and also a diversity consultant.   SIUe is one of the very few college campuses Jim takes time to visit.  If you have not seen Jim during one of his prior visits, he is a captivating speaker that will surely leave you motivated.  Don’t miss this opportunity!  Jim is also giving a keynote address on Wednesday, 1/22, 6-7 pm (see below).

The SIUE Marketing Association is hosting an event, “Jim Reed’s Career Corner” next week!

What: Jim Reed will be speaking to students about the hidden tips to landing a job. He will be discussing topics such as resumes, interviews and career strategies.

Who is Jim Reed?: Jim Reed has more than 20 years in the information processing environment with special emphasis and interest in K-12, University education and the general business environment.  In addition to being a Corporate Trainer and Coach with outstanding facilitation and communication skills, Jim has extensive experience in team building, diversity training, leadership development and education.  Additional service offerings are inclusive of leadership training, management development, and motivational speaking. After more than years with IBM, Jim decided to widen his endeavors and established his own consulting firm, Jim Reed Consulting.

Who can go?: All students are welcome to!
